INTERVIEW WITH CRISS

This hardcore hooligan probably does not need introductions, but just in case people are not familiar with Criss and the Mindcore crew, we had a little chat with the artist.

You've been a pioneer in the Finnish Hardcore techno scene, with almost 30 years (29 to be exact) of hardcore action. What is the Finnish HC scene like nowadays?

- The Finnish hardcore scene is booming better than ever! Clublife, Hardvoltage, Ravespace and Fury have raised up the parties to the next level, bringing the most famous and biggest hardcore artists to their parties.

- Also, the visuals and lighting are getting bigger and better, bringing the craziest atmosphere to the dance floor.

- There are also several organizations providing more underground parties, so there is a bit of everything for everybody.

- We have many new Finnish hard artists like Terrorina pushing new music and playing in the biggest hardcore events in Netherlands. So, the future of Finnish hardcore scene is looking very bright, and it will bring many inolvidable parties for Finnish hardheads!

What should the Kosmos crowd expect from you this year on Levitation Station?

- I will provide special psychedelic sounds with distorted basslines on his set. The set will include artists like Stereotype, Ki-Real, Leviathan and other psycore tracks. So, if you want to finish the Kosmos weekend with hard psycore, come to Gravity stage on 03:00-04:00 Sunday morning.

Do you think there's room for more hardcore techno artists in the Kosmos lineup?

- Of course there is! There are several Finnish hard artists that could play right underground sound for Kosmos. International artists like Stereotype and BillX would be so cool to see perform on Kosmos festival in the future.
