We're extremely excited to be welcoming you to Glade next Thursday, before the madness starts, why not enjoy some comedy! We have some fantastic comedians ready to get you in the spirit. Firstly we welcome Nish Kumar, one half of the Gentlemen Of Leisure, we'll dub his performance "Sketch Comedy'.

Next we welcome Ben Target, who won Leicster Mercury comedian of the year award last year and one of the most, exciting up and coming alternative and prop comics on the scene.
Nick Sun
You'll hear many descriptions of Nick Sun; from erratic, acidic, confrontational, surreal and subversive, but these all become seemingly pointless when you let him loose on a stage. His approach to comedy is unlike anything you're likely to have seen before.
Matthew Highton
Starting back in 2008, Matthew Highton is a surreal and abstract ball of wonder. Offering a fresh and unique style of comedy unseen before he's a sublime storyteller and stand up, as well as unbelievably agile when it comes to improvisation, guaranteeing to turn the sternest grimace or toughest look of bemusement into uncontrollable bouts of laughter, proving him to be an individual comedy maverick.
Stuart Laws
We move onto Stuart Laws, his stand-up involves "boundless energy" and telling stories that weave material in with improvised audience interaction. Observational and surreal, "it's difficult to tell where the act ends and the improvisation starts".
John Kearns
John Kearns is a London based comedian who delivers "a manic and fast-paced routine...that will leave you shaking with laughter long after you've left." (Three Weeks) Weird, surreal and at times dark, his unrelenting comedy will be a highlight of the Laughing Stock stage.
Phil Kay
Phil's comedy is a unique blend of energy, improvisation and leaps of imagination that take his audience on a joyride they'll never forget. Even Phil has no idea what might happen when he unleashes his crazy brand of improvised comedy mayhem. He possesses the rare gift of creating a space where audiences feel like they are kids again, all taking part in a practical joke.
