Spätestens seit dem Überhit "I Made A Deal With Myself" ist klar, dass Alexis Evans den Aufstieg in die die erste Neo-Soul Liga geschafft hat. 

In Bordeaux aufgewachsen entdeckte Alexis schon als Kind seine Vorliebe für afro-amerikanische Musik. Sein Vater, ein englischer Musiker brachte ihm das Gitarrespielen bei. Mit 17 Jahren gewann er mit seinem ersten Projekt "Jumping To The Westside" den "Cognac Blues Passion" Preis und reiste zur "International Blues Challenge" nach Memphis, Tennessee. 

Kurz danach, 2016, landete er mit seinem Debütalbum "Girl Bait" einen Volltreffer auf den Tanzflächen und bei den Radiostationen seines Heimatlandes. Er tourte danach ausführlich durch Frankreich und absolvierte erste Auftritte in England, Wales, Estland und der Schweiz. Ganz besonders freuen wir uns deshalb, dass er sich das Freedom Sounds für seine erste Show in Deutschland ausgesucht hat.

His single "I made a Deal With Myself", lifted off his second album, has become an instant classic on dancefloors around the continent.

Heading from Bordeaux, the Anglo-French discovered Afro-American music as a child and learnt to play guitar thanks to his father, an English musician. At the age of 17 he debuted with his first project "Jumping to the Westside", with which he was awarded the "Cognac Blues Passion" prize and flew to the "International Blues Challenge" in Memphis, Tennessee. Soon after in 2016 he exploded onto the French scene with "Girl Bait", his astonishing debut album that hit the airwaves of FIP, France Bleu, and Jazz Radio amongst others. Despite his young age Alexis Evans has already built a household name, touring extensively in France, England, Wales, Estonia and Switzerland. His show at Freedom Sounds will mark his debut in Germany.
