Since their triumphant main stage show in 2009 British Metallers BEHOLDER have gone from strength to strength with a string of UK and European dates and sales of their debut album "The Awakening" being given a major thumbs up by both media and fans alike. But now BEHOLDER are back and with the proposed release of their second album late in 2011 they're looking to tear up the Sophie Stage.









Frontman Simon Hall commented - "2009 was a special show and playing Bloodstock means the world to us cos it's the only TRUE metal festival in the UK, but coming back to headline the Sophie Stage - this is just gonna be brutal beyond words! "

Hailed as the "Standard Bearers of Britain's Metal Renaissance" by the likes of Metal Hammer, Classic Rock and more, BEHOLDER have hailed as the British band that offers a full package?intensity, power and honesty! Comparisons in sound with acts like Nevermore, Iron Maiden and Exodus place the band in good company yet their sound is both unique and uncompromising.

Drummer Chris Bentley - "This show has come at a great time as we're moving into an exciting phase for the band so we'll be showcasing some new material alongside a few surprises that'll cause absolute mayhem and carnage - but that's what we like right?"

With the bands strong links with The Sophie Lancaster foundation this show will be one hell of a celebration which will set the pace for what promises to be a monumental weekend of metal!!
