When the Jan Galach Band was founded in 2011, each of the musicians who currently play in the band had been widely know to the fans of blues, rock, jazz and funk. The band's huge creative potential and individual skills make the Jan Galach Band more and more popular on music stage in Poland an abroad. It's difficult to define the style and type of music which they play in few words. Brilliant teamwork and inspiration from many musical genres make the sound coming to us from stage a real explosive mixture of style, where improvisation plays the crucial role. Jan Galach Band is an originator and founder of the band. As a violinist, composer and arranger he has been well know from numerous music projects like Rawa Blues, Christmas concerts, music workshop ans "Osly" formation. Jan Galach has worked with quite a few Polish an foreign musicans and he can be heard on records of such artist and bands as Martyna Jakubowicz, Acis Drinkers, 4 Szmery, J.J. Band, Schau Pau Acoustic Blues, Osly, Koniec Swiata, Highway and Acoustic Travel Band. Currently, at Stobno Records, the band is finalizing the recordings of their debut CD comprising Jan Galach's compositions which will be the crowning of works and efforts of the entire band. |
