| The highly acclaimed Swedish female vocal quartet Kongero was formed in 2005 and has since then been established as one of Sweden's leading vocal groups, singing traditional and folk music in enchanting arrangements. The group consists of Lotta Andersson, Emma Björling, Lovisa Liljeberg and Anna Wikenius, four skilled singers who together, in a free and extraordinary way, explore vocal possibilities and pushes the boundaries in both folk music and vocal music. Kongero's innovative arrangements and vocal harmonies provide a unique and exciting sound, which makes folk music take a natural step from the past into the present. Kongero has released two own studio albums and also appear on a gold-certified Naxos compilation album.
