Summer 2009 saw the introduction of the Paul Daly Big Band when we were joined by Paul Richards, Peter Corbett, Konrad Stock and Uli Jenne for our gig at the Greenfarm Festival followed by a visit up north for the Connemara Folkfestival in Bad Malente as well as guesting at O’Shea’s in Nürnberg during the Barden Treffen. In 2010 the band continued to gig regularily until the autumn when we started recording our new CD. Joined by musicians like Frank McLynn, Alison Moffat, Paul and Steve Richards, Konrad stock, Sean Regan and Pat Coyne. From 15 songs, 13 were from the pen of P.D. The fruit of our labours was finally released in the middle of June 2011 and the reaction so far has been very positive. Since May 2011 we have been gigging regularily again to great audience reactions and we look forward to further gigs this summer.
