| DIN Martin was formed in Leipzig, Germany in 2010. The four musicians, coming from different musical backgrounds, find a way through landscapes filled with post rock-, shoe gaze- and electronic sounds. The band’s music comes in sonic waves. Catchy pop melodies blend in seamlessly into self-created melodic walls of sound. The songs don't need to be written. They already exist and just need to be put into words. The musicians capture this current trend and transform it into their own unique sound. BIOGRAPHY: Originally formed as a three piece, DIN Martin started rehearsing in early 2010. First appearances were made in and around Leipzig, following a tour through Denmark, Germany and England in 2011, where they played with acts like The Telescopes, The Fauns, Kwoon, Diego and Late Night Venture. The band released a self-made 4 track EP (“Elliston Road”) for that tour. CURRENTLY: DIN Martin has just made its first TV appearance on German TV station “ZDF Kultur” within the program “Bauerfeind”. A short interview and an acoustic version of the song “Before you faint” were broadcasted. Besides that the band is working on its first full-length album, which will be released in March this year. Following that album DIN Martin is off to play a European tour. Dates have already been confirmed in Denmark, the UK and Germany.
