| Electrifying energy, irrepressible passion and absolutely catchy and fresh songs... SACRED GROOVE is THE German female fronted melodic metal band featuring the charismatic Russian singer Alona Levina, whose vibrant voice guarantees uniqueness. SACRED GROOVE's trademarks are energetic and ear catching songs with fat groove, bombastic guitar riffs, symphonic keyboard and piano-parts, multifarious, emotional vocals and lots of melody. In the fall of 2015 the band released its second album called „The Other Side”, which has received many enthusiastic reactions worldwide. The album was produced by Mario Dahmen in Liquid Audio Studios Germany and was mastered by the famous producer Jacob Hansen (Hansen Studios, a.o. Amaranthe, Volbeat) in Denmark. The German Metal Hammer wrote in its edition of September 2016: “Alona's songs are full of passion and hope. In general, the music of Sacred Groove contains lots of energy as well as good guitar riffs typical for melodic metal... “ The first album of Sacred Groove called “Needful Things” was released in 2011 and was also very well received by the music press. The band has played lots of national shows and festivals and successfully participated in various independent band competitions. SACRED GROOVE was nominated for the German Rock and Pop Price 2010 and performed in the final of the worldwide Emergenza Festival 2011 as well as Underground Band Contest Unbaco 2013. The five of SACRED GROOVE always give 100% and live their passion for the music on stage. |
