| "Piotr Pawlak Jazztet is one of the hardest swinging young bands in Europe, playing an exciting mix of original tunes and arrangements that pay tribute to the great Benny Golson Jazztet as well as Art Blakey´s Jazz Messengers. A great mix of tight ensemble playing and inspired solos help make this international formation one of the hottest new groups on the European jazz scene." Ed Partyka Piotr Pawlak Jazztet (aka. "Night Life Sextet"), is an initiative by the young Polish drummer, which was established in late December 2009. They had their début on the stage of the University of Music in Graz on 25th of January 2010. The concert and the band received very positive feedback from professors, students and the audience. This event had a big motivation effect on the musicians, and resulted in a regular band. |
