Fresh, energetic, innovative and charismatic are only a few words to describe J’Unique and the Replaceables. As a relatively new formation but already all experienced musicians the collaboration of J’Unique and the Replaceables arose largely due to their mutual passion to create something new and exciting. The unusual combination of J’Unique - former rock/pop artist, Scid da Beat - National Beatboxing Champion (Germany ), Jonnie - funk/rock guitarist, Bjorn -funk/rock/pop bassist opened new doors of creativity and novel experimentation.
The line up relying on beatbox, samples and effects (with a few percussive instrumentation thrown in) as the basic rhythm foundation only, gives the concept a unique flare. Whether they are performing covers or own material every song sounds fresh and distinctive to them and their original sound.
Having already played festivals and exhibitions, since their formation early 2010, J’Unique and The Replaceables have proved that with this line up nothing is compromised staging a dynamic and highly charged show.
Although J’Unique and The Replaceables are predominantly playing live at present are also simultaneously working on their two EPs (one of own material and other of exclusively styled cover).
