Founded in February 2009, it quickly became clear to Disminded which direction to take:
dramatic melodies, hard-hitting grooves and fast-paced thrash parts are accompanied by deep, unadorned lyrics, straight from the deepest of abysses: Despair, fear, addiction, betrayal and fantasies of violence.
The first professional recordings were completed in 2012 with the support of Long Distance Calling guitarist David Jordan. With this 4-track EP Disminded were able to expand their horizons. As a result, the band has naturally grown together and is well-rehearsed, which is also reflected in the energetic and uncompromising live shows (e.g. with Gruesome, Belphegor).
At the end of 2014 it was time to record the album "Out of the Ashes", mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö @ Unisound Studios in Krefeld and very positively received by fans and press.
In early 2020 Disminded published their second full-length album "Beheading the Snake" through STF Records.
The band released the single "Coro-Nation", mixed and mastered by Andy Classen, in summer 2020, processing the Corona related setbacks.
In September 2022, recordings for a new album are finished, scheduled release is early 2023.
