| FRANK MCCOMB Divine soul man, Frank McComb, speaks in a native tongue of soul, jazz, blues and pop. His virtuoso piano and organ skills have made him not only an indispensable and highly sought after session musician, but an underground favourite on the soul and jazz scenes. His musical roots are somewhere between Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock and with a voice often compared to Stevie and Donny Hathaway, Frank is an artist of substance. The world got an early taste of his genius both on wax and on the road when young lion, Branford Marsalis, laid down his seminal Hip Hop Jazz recording with his group Buckshot LeFonque. On their second recording, Music Evolution, Frank was the featured vocalist on their hit song ‘Another Day’. Now with ten solo albums to his name, Frank’s long list of collaborators is equally impressive – featuring musical giants such as Frankie Beverly and Maze, Teena Marie, Chaka Khan, Lalah Hathaway, Terri Lynn Carrington, Phyllis Hyman, Teddy Pendergrass, Fred Hammond, Anastacia and Prince.
