Founded in 2007 in thought of combining hard riffs with melodic, shouted vocals with clean and add to this all some cool synths, Defined By Lies has developed its own style of extreme music based on contrasts. Meanwhile it lets appear some Deathcore influences in its songs, which are often about philosophical, but not unwordly issues. In 2009 DBL has recorded the first EP "When Suffering's The Only Escape" consisting of 5 songs with deep and diversified sound, which is not to be compared with the early recordings.
