Collettivo Mazzulata

The Collettivo Mazzulata is one of Italy's most exciting young Folk bands.

Hailing from Varese Northern Italy they play RATAFOLK, a compelling musical melting pot. Their swinging and dynamic stage show includes rapping vocals along with folk accordions and a groovy rhythm section, smashing guitars and coloured, funky sax parts

The varied repertoire embraces Folk music and influences as Jazz, Latin, Zydeco Blues and Reggae. Their inventive arrangements fuse the beauty of traditional music with the power of modern rhythms..

They played at festivals in Germany, Croatia and Bustofolk Italy sharing stage with Dervish.

Collettivo Mazzulata recorded their debut album CD "RATAFOLK 2007" in Biella/Italy.

Their first DVD "The age of Ratafolk" has been released in October 2009.

A second album will be released in December 2009.
