Eine mystische, musikalische reise durch Asien, Afrika, Europa,.....Carribic...!!!!! J AYASRI musik kennt keine grenzen.....weil sie stimmen für drei kontinente sind. diese multi-kulti-formation sind routinierte musiker aus asien, afrika, carribic und europa. die 6 köpfige band geht musikalisch unterschiedliche pfade. von asian DUB, ragga, reggae, dancehall, hiphop, asian chillout mit traditionellen rythmen (sri Lanka,indien), afrika über elemente westlicher musik und carribischen klängen. eine band mit symbolik, aussagekraft und einer ladung gebalter energie! dieser mix wird auf der bühne zu einem überzeugenden live-act mit kompakten, groovige sound und coolen vibrations! ganz im derzeitigen trend liegend, beeindruckt die band dabei durch authentische kompositionen ebenso wie durch darbietung respektierter cover-versionen. JAYASRI spielte auf namenhaften festivals mit internationalen künstlern wie Third World,Alpha Blondy, UB40, Wailers, Inner Circle, Falco, the Temptations, usw....... auch tourneen in europa, nord & süd amerika, mittleren osten und asien haben sie erfolgreich absolviert. dadurch waren ihre Albums `mod goviya´ und `sundaree´ monate lange in den heimischen top charts und weltweit in der world musik sender charts. die Krönung der musikalischen leistungen für JAYASRI war der 1.platz von 77 bands für den österreichischer world music preis 2003 (Austrian World Music Award 2003). J AYASRI´s kreativität geht weiter. Mit ihren bewusten Texten konnten sie die nationale und internationale Filmbranche mit den Filmen „Mille Soya- Bonjourno Italia“ (SL Presidents Awards) , „Machan“ – 2008, Italienische oscar nominierte regisseur Uberto Passolini (Beste Film-European Cinema Belt – Venedig Film Festival 2008 ITALY,Best Film-Palm beach Film Festival Florida USA) 6 original liedern überzeugen.
