| Inannima is a musical project that starts in 2022. After several changes in its formation, it is consolidated with Sara Mathew on vocals, Jaime Monteagudo on guitars and Jerry Cestelos on drums as definitive members. All are experienced musicians in the vibrant scene of Barcelona, Spain. Inannima offers a fresh and bold perspective to the contemporary music scene, starting from a thematic concept that explores a post-apocalyptic future in which the Earth has been devastated by the excesses and lack of control of humanity's technological advances. This background is reflected in its lyrics full of social criticism and reflection, addressing current problems with which any listener can identify. Inannima is characterized by being critical, scathing and vindicative, expressing itself through a musical style that fuses influences from dark gothic metal with electronic industrial metal, creating what they define as Cyber Goth Metal. In 2025, Inannima culminates its most ambitious project to date, entitled "En Contra del Olvido", with its first national tour. This project, which includes the releases of the singles "Rétame" and "Como el mar", seeks to remind the public of the importance of taking care of our planet. The songs and the concept of the tour address crucial issues such as the danger of global warming, the irresponsible use of natural resources and pollution, inviting a deep reflection on the impact of humanity on the Earth. The "En Contra del Olvido" (Against oblivion) tour will take Inannima to cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Vitoria, León, among others, consolidating its position as one of the most promising emerging bands on the national scene. This series of concerts will not only be a celebration of their music, but also a powerful reminder of the awareness messages that the band defends. |
