Known for their soulful three-part harmonies, Western Canadian Music Award Winners Sweet Alibi, have shared their folk roots-pop infused music with listeners across North America and Europe since 2009. Their music has garnered national accolades and awards, has been featured on MTV in the U.S., CMT, it has received major radio play on college/community and satellite radio, with several songs in the top 20 of CBC Radio 2’s national charts. The band is currently working on their fourth studio album with producers Matt Peters & Matt Schellenberg (Royal Canoe + Begonia). Sweet Alibi recently released their hooky first single 'Confetti' off their upcoming album, which was added into heavy rotation, and is currently charting on CBC Radio 2’s Top 20. They generally perform as a five piece band: Lead Vocal - electric guitar and harmonica Lead Vocal- acoustic guitar, ukulele Back Up Vocal- electric guitar, banjo Bass Drums Backline will be required for all festival performances in Europe: Need drum kit supplied; 5 Piece DW Kit or Yamaha Recording Series w/ snare, 2- toms, kick, floor tom, 3 boom stands, drum throne, snare stand, high hat stand, kit pedal, carpet, 3 cymbals, 1-16" crash, 1-18" crash, 1-20' ride cymbal, 14" high hats Need bass amp supplied; Markbass cmd 112, Ampeg ba 115 or SWR redhead Need 2 guitar amps supplied; Fender Blues Jr. or Fender Deluxe Hospitality: Band requires 3 double rooms with 2 queen size beds in each room. Band also requires ground transportation from closest airport to festival if possible. |
