Juredurč

The JureDuRé project was born in Bologna, from the mixture of diverse musical entities. The sound of the group is composed of balcanic vibes skilfully mixed with jazz, distinctive of the ethno-world orientation experimented and consolidated by the band over the years.

The unique features of each component make the alternation between the different styles and musical genres extremely dynamic, contributing to the ideal combination of the diverse artistic cultures.

In 2010 the soundtrack of the first 3D movie from German director Wim Wenders, “Il volo”, is composed by the JureDuRé.

Il Volo” is a movie set in Riace, Calabria and the ethno-folk sound of the JureDuRé seems incredibly suited to describe its suggestive images.

During the last months of 2011, the band activities intensify and expand, starting from the big screen. In November, JureDuRé take part to the soundtrack of the movie “Itaker”, by Tony Trupia, directed and interpreted by the renowned artist Michele Placido, in which they also briefly perform live. Musical awards do not fail to arrive: on 1 December 2011, the band wins the regional finals of the prestigious festival Folkest, managing to participate to the 2012 summer final, where they will share the stage with renowned exponents of the national and international folk music panorama.
