| Jannis Zotos – vocal, guitars; Dalai Theofilopoulou – cello; Thanassis Zotos – perc, voc; Michael Rodach – guitar; H.D. Lorenz – bass; Thomas Alkier – drums Jannis Zotos spielte das erste Mal 1980 mit Mikis Theodorakis zusammen. Daraus ergab sich eine über 20 jährige Zusammenarbeit, viele Tourneen u. Plattenproduktionen. Nun, nach 35 Jahren nahm Zotos ein Soloalbum auf, auf dem er 15 weniger bekannte Songs des Meisters interpretiert. Er begleitet sich einzig und allein mit einer E Gitarre. Dadurch bekommt die Musik einen sehr persönlichen, zerbrechlichen Charakter. Live setzt Jannis Zotos dies allerdings mit Band um u. komplimentiert das Programm mit Songs seiner beiden letzten Alben „Siganess Phones tis Mnimis“ (Lyric: Mikis Theodorakis) und „Amour fou“ (Lyric: M. Polodouri/K. Karyotakis). ——– Jannis Zotos worked for the first time with Mikis Theodorakis in 1981. From this developed a collaboration of over 20 years, many tours and records. Now, after 35 years he recorded a solo album, on which he interprets 15 of the lesser known songs of the great master. He accompanies his voice only with an elecrtic guitar. This is why the music has a very personal and vulnerable character. Live on stage, he works with a band and complements his program with songs of his last two albums „Siganess Phones tis Mnimis“ (Lyric: Mikis Theodorakis) and „Amour fou“ (Lyric: M. Polodouri/K. Karyotakis). |
