BAND BIOGRAPHY The origins of one of Berlin‘s finest Irish Folk bands date back to 2011, when frontman Danny O’Connor met banjo player Alan Jackson from his native Ireland on none other than St Patrick’s Day – March 17th. They began playing gigs all over Europe together, and as the gigs grew, so did the band. The guys recruited percussionist Toby Gomez, and during the production of their first record in 2012, they were joined by German-American fiddler Sara Thögersen. Four years down the road, the original line-up has changed but the band‘s characteristic, high-octane sound has remained the same. Sara Thögersen and Scottish fiddler/bag-piper Paul Viblanc are taking turns on the band’s regular live shows. They are often joined by Stefan Hübscher on Mandola. Thanks to Danny O’Connors ability of engaging audiences, Murphy’s Law are by now a fixed event in the calendars of music lovers in Berlin and elsewhere.
