It was in Berlin, Spring 2015, when the best friends Kevin and Morris decided to mix their musical talents together to provide the world with Schönmusik (beautiful music). More than 10 years ago the two met for the first time, of course at a party, where Kevin got the crowd shaking with sounds still using vinyl. Since then their are friends and always looking for the perfect party to come. Dancing on countless events in and around Berlin they have seen, heard and learned plenty of fun and useful stuff. Now the time has come to put their many years of experiences, Kevin as DJ and Morris also as an insider of the scene, into their joint project Klamt ‘n’ Fitch. Upcoming events are now nicely coated in Schönmusik.
The DJ sound, produced as team, can be described as melodic and harmonious. However, the two always have a groove with on board which draws the people onto the dance floor. Their wide range of track selections doesn’t stop at any electronic dance music sub-genre, and although their repertoire consists mainly of deep and minimalistic songs, technoid and funky house tracks can also be found in their sets again and again. Simply said, everything what fits Schönmusik.
In their teens their were impressed by artists such as Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Soft Cell and the The Chemical Brothers. Currently, influenced by Alfred Heinrichs, Alle Farben, Andhim and Bebetta, the DJ team is now developing their own unique sound. The wealth of opportunities a own productions brings sparked another big passion in both recently. And so, you find them more often in the studio these days. So be alert, soon there will be also something to listen to in form of the guys producer work!
