| I'm a live looping artist from Vienna/Austria. I use my voice and synths alongside other instruments and different effects in combination with a looper to produce tracks live on the spot. At the age of 4 I started playing at the Yamaha music school in Vienna. As time went by I got interested in different instruments (piano, violin, guitar, ...) and various music styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, electronic, ...) After playing in different bands I discovered live looping, which I find it very fascinating, since it gives you the freedom to perform and use all kinds of instruments, layer sounds and voices, create choirs, rhythm patterns (beatbox) and all kinds of stuff, all by yourself. In 2013 I decided to start my live looping solo-project. ROMIC is all about a musical journey which started many, many years ago. It's about life, experiences, joy, sadeness, the chase for a dream and about staying true to yourself and take a look at the world from a different angle. In my music I want to describe my feelings of how I see the world and how important it is to fight for the overall good - in the world and within ourselves. |
