Dunk!festival first took place in 2005 and was meant for supporting the local basketball club Helios Zottegem. It soon turned out that they were more supporting us than we were supporting them. So we decided to go our own way and try to be a break even operation.
Nevertheless we are going to continue and try our best to get as much good bands as possible to come to our events in this little town called Zottegem. We are very happy that people from all over the world already find their way to our festival and we hope that more and more people will be interested in the underestimated music we program.
